Everyone has a quality that I could be jealous of. Who does it serve to hold a burning hate for those I believe are above me because they do not lack what I have convinced myself I do? Who does it serve to diminish myself down to an inferior being? Why should I not instead love the qualities I do have and continue to grow? It is far more productive to fuel myself with loving affirmation and acknowledge all I have done to get where I have gotten today. To love myself is to love others; to love my qualities is to love the qualities I see in the human beings around me.
