Nature | Stream of Consciousness

Have you ever seen a sight as beautiful as nature untamed?

~

It races without a heartbeat, a pulse, or gleam of sweat. The heat of the sun, rather than slow it, allows it to expand expeditiously about its expansive canvas, as long as rain is a constant variable in life’s divine equation. Free of man’s obstructions, their neighborhood pool houses and posts offices and Popeyes, free of man’s axes, shears, and lawnmowers.

Ah, most importantly, gone are the fences and walls of faux stone. No creature alive had seen nature so undisturbed, and while the sight is bewitching to behold, no such creature could see it. For no man, animal, or disgruntled God could exist in this world of untouched purity without its very state fizzling out into oxymoronic terror. What is beauty can be beautiful whether human eyes lay upon it or not.

It does not snake about: it yearns and grows forevermore, or until it thinks the rain has died.
