Last Friday I woke up at 5:30 to run with the sunrise.
I’ve been in the habit of waking up early, but this was the first day I went outside to meet the morning. It was beautiful running as the sun started to rise, the cold wind taking tears out of my eyes and breath out of my chest.
The sun had fully risen at approximately 7:15. I heard the first honk on the nearby highway of this Atlanta Friday morning at 7:30.
“Oh, the day’s really started now!” I had thought. Let the world come alive!
